Ana-Maria started her work in the notarial field back in 2008, based on an extensive professional and cultural experience. She was a notary trainee within the jurisdiction of the Cluj-Napoca Law Court from 2008 to 2010 and, in January 2011, she was appointed notary public in the same jurisdiction by the Minister of Justice (she scored the highest grade in the professional certification exam).
Ana-Maria graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry within the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj in 2003 and continued her studies in the legal field; she completed her law degree at the Babes-Bolyai University in 2008. As she is committed to continuous personal and professional training and development, she later completed a 2-year Master’s degree in clinical psychology focused on the development of human potential at the Faculty of Psychology within the same university. She defended her dissertation in the summer of 2022; the topic of her dissertation was the interaction between certain personal traits, stress and burnout among notaries public in Romania. In the autumn of 2022, she attended the symposium on electronic authentic instrument and remote signature in Europe held in Paris by the Superior Council of Notaries.
Her personal journey began many years ago, taking her from the Emil Racovita High School in Cluj-Napoca to Sweden, where she had the opportunity to live for a few years and attend high school under the IB (International Baccalaureate) umbrella at Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet in Gothenburg. Later, she settled temporarily in Italy, where he studied the Italian language and culture for one year at Universitá di Stranieri in Perugia. Drawing on all these life experiences, Ana-Maria is fluent in English, Swedish and Italian.
She likes tennis and is passionate about reading; she is motivated by diversity, personal growth and continuous learning. She believes in the age of digitisation, that is she acknowledges the contribution of technology in notarial activities, and she also believes in the present and future role of notaries public as unquestionable guarantors of legal certainty.
Mission and Guiding Principles
Our mission is to facilitate access to notarial services for people living not only in the city center, but also in the neighbourhoods of the city Cluj-Napoca. The Ana-Maria Chirila Individual Notary Office started to operate in the Manastur District at the beginning of 2011, in an area connected to public transport and with 10 parking spaces. Later, the office has diversified its activity both in terms of the geographical area that it served and in terms of number of customers, which is why the office has expanded to receive an associate notary public, Smaranda Ramona Pop.
